Privacy notice
This notice covers wheelock.training, this marketing site. Course accounts, enrolment and payment are handled on our separate learning platform, which has its own privacy notice shown at sign-up.
What we collect here
- Contact form submissions. Your name, email, company (if given), the subject you selected and your message. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms on our behalf and emailed to us.
- Standard server logs. Our host records the usual request data (IP address, browser, page requested) to serve the site and defend it from abuse.
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. See ourcookie notice.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use contact details solely to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about the training you asked about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list from a contact form.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then deleted. Server logs are retained by our host on their standard schedule.
Who else sees it
Our hosting and form provider (Netlify) and our email provider process data on our instructions as processors. Our learning platform provider handles course accounts and payment separately, under its own notice.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing. Emailwheelock.training@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
